I shifted to the mother of all modelling topics: Normandy! Based on a genuine historical interest. It seemed harmless at the time, but it got slightly out of hand. Now I can only build historically correct. Which means spending more time reading than actually building models.
So, what if there’s nothing to read about a specific topic? Well, then I’ll have to write it myself. But not after conducting thorough research first. After all, who would go research Panzer Ersatz und Ausbildungs Abteilung 100? I know only one…. Between all this research I somehow, accidently, manage to build something. Of course I never finish anything because “finishing models is for quitters!” What helps with not finishing anything is my specialty: HLFT’s, short for Horrible Little French Tanks. They may not have been very good in 1940, but the big model companies have been taking that a bit too seriously. You simply can’t get these model finished.

Fiction: I do not care about historical accuracy, I just count Zimmerit for fun.
