Join us during this weekend with the talented and multiple award winning Chris Clayton and expand your skills with new insights and approaches to figure painting.

During this weekend Chris will take you through the methods and techniques that he uses to achieve the amazing and realistic skin tones on his figures.

For each step in the process you will first watch the “How-To” by Chris himself after which you get to work on the bust that will be supplied for this workshop, and Chris will guide you along by checking the progress and providing individual support on your advancements

Included in the seminar price:

  • One 1/6 scale bust per participant, designed, sculpted and produced by Chris Clayton
  • A selection of Citadel paints: Reikland flesh shade (not gloss), Agrax earth shade (not gloss), Carroburg crimson shade & Seraphim sepia shade. You can bring your own, should you want to.
  • A selection of Tamiya paints XF55 Deck Tan & XF57 Buff and Tamiya thinner. Again, you can bring our own if you wish to do so.
  • A selection of specific paints that Chris uses to achieve his effects.
  • Desk lamps with daylight bulbs (so you don’t need to bring your own)
  • Disposables: water/mixing cups, paper tissues etc.
  • Extension cords and power strips (multiple connectors)
  • Ping Pong balls (don’t ask!)

For the record: We have 230V here and we use Euro plugs!

Seminar Price:  € 190

Not included in the seminar price:

Lunch: we offer the possibility for a joint lunch at € 12,50 per person/per day.
Lunch includes soup, a selection of rolls and sandwiches, milk, tea, orange juice, and coffee.

Please note that the venue rules do not allow you to take your own lunch and drinks.
During the day you can obtain beverages and snacks from the bar at very reasonable prices.

Saturday night Pizza Show Down: on Saturday evening at 19:30

We have planned a joint diner in Eindhovens´ city centre. A nice opportunity to talk about figure painting, creative things in general, the world today, and maybe even talk about things that really matter, in a setting away from the airbrush vapors while enjoying good food and drinks amongst old and new friends.

To keep things simple and affordable yet very tasty, we have decided to go for pizza at restaurant Da Verdi in the centre of Eindhoven.
Just tick the box on the registartion form if you want to come along, so we can make reservations at the restaurant accordingly.
Payment for the diner will be at the restaurant, so there´s no pre-payment required.

What you need to bring yourself:

Paint brushes – selection of normal sizes (00 to 1+)
Selection of acrylic paint (whatever you usually paint with);
Double action airbrush
Compressor with air pressure control
Pallet – dry or wet
Airbrush cleaner

Air support:

For those travelling to the seminar by air, we can provide a compressor and a hose with connector, but we have to charge an additional fee of € 20 p.p. for the entire weekend. Should you wish to use this option, please indicate this on the registration form. You should also indicate the type of airbrush that you use, so we can provide  the correct quick release connectors for your airbrush.

Please note that this option is not available for those coming to the workshop by car.

Payment, cancellation and refund policies:


  • Payment in advance is required for all participants. Immediately upon registration you will receive an automatically generated invoice. Payment is required within 14 days of invoice date. Your seat will only be ensured after receipt of your payment.
  • In case you fail to pay within the requested time frame your seat will be allocated to another attendee.
  • Please note that for payments made via Paypal we add a 5% surcharge.
  • In all cases we will reduce the refunded amount with any prior banking costs, should these apply.

Refund Policy and conditions

  • We guarantee a full (100%) refund of the paid amount, minus banking costs when applicable, in case you have to cancel your participation before 15th May2017.
  • For cancellations after 15th May 2017 we cannot grant any refunds.
  • Only valid cancellations will be refunded. Cancellations are considered valid when due to health issues, urgent and unforeseen family matters and similar situations..
  • We also guarantee a full refund of the seminar fee is in case the seminar is cancelled on behalf of the organization due to health issues, or urgent and unforeseen family matters.
  • The organization nor mr. Clayton, nor affiliated companies can be held responsible for a possible cancellation of the event due to external factors.
  • We recommend that participants have their own travel- and cancellation insurance to cover risks and costs other than the seminar fee.
